Some Gamestops and EB Games aren't getting the game until tomorrow. And everywhere else (walmart, best buy etc.)won't have them until the 12th. But if it makes you feel important and big to make fun of the more intelligent gaming community, you go ahead and knock yourself out....douche.
Even Microsoft has said the Cell is a great all purpose chip. It's just not that great as a gaming chip. Any chip that is used to power cell phones can't possibly be good for high end gaming. They're talking about the CHIP, not the SYSTEM.

PC gamers and console gamers don't cross paths too often. Halo of course went to PC. Being a console gamer, I'm happy to see the PC guys getting some love. I'm' not sure why Dante1 thinks it's so funny. That's like saying it's funny that "PS3 sucks" because Unreal 07 is going to PC. Console and PC cross platform gaming is good for business and the industry.
SEGA just needs to do what they've needed to do for over a decade now. Release a TRUE Phantasy Star sequel. (which would be Phantasy Star 5 for those of you who are counting) Sega's Phantasy Star series was easily on par with Squares Final Fantasy series. Any RPG gamer in their 20's or older would LOVE to see PS5, not these lame MMO titles.

Microsoft released with 1 million units. The Wii is ahead of schedule and should hit should be around 5 million at launch. So Sony has far and away the fewest at 400k.

If you guys are willing to front the bill to have Ubi start from scratch to get the ideal PS3 version, I'm sure they'd do it. If not, than you must realize you're morons...devs are a company, and the PS3 is a spendy platform to develop for. The Cell is nice, but because of the difficulty, time, and money it takes to program for it, you're dumb enough to blame the devs. You should be pissed at Sony for using the Cell (again, it's a nice chip, it's just not made for games)

I think he's right. HOWEVER, graphics are what attracts gamers to games. It's like trying to fall for a woman who is REALLY cool, but kind of ugly. It can be done, but it's tough. I mean, it's the cool part that really matters, but looks are what suck you in to begin with.
I'm not even a graphics whore, I just think in general it's quite important but should NOT indicate "next gen".
